While Sunset Overdrive is still lacking a number of details, the official box art for the title has been released. Gamers will immediately notice that it’s a dramatic step away from the more traditional game covers that are currently lining their shelves, but Insomniac Games wanted to break the mold and give gamers something better than just “standard” cover art.
Insomniac Games spared no expense locking down a top firm to tackle the project either, selecting the acclaimed company ilovedust to create an action-packed and artistic representation of what kind of content awaits those that pick up Sunset Overdrive. Featuring everything from zany guns to mutated energy drink consumers, consumers with a keen eye will instantly be able to pick up on a lot of the content that’s featured within the game itself.

While the fictious residents of Sunset City may be thirsty for Overcharge beverages, the real-world community surrounding it are without a doubt thirsty for more details on Sunset Overdrive. Fortunately, E3 2014 is quickly approaching and Microsoft will be sure to tout new details on the upcoming exclusive during its press conference.
