Gizmo – The Genius Gadget Maker
In DC Comics, Gizmo is one of the most intelligent characters, using his high-level intellect to create gadgets that often disrupt the peace. He is one of the most notable graduates of the H.I.V.E., an organization that specializes in training future villains, a direct counterpart to the Teen Titans. His small stature and weak physicality have forced him to rely on creating innovative gadgets such as his spider legs, rocket launchers, battle suits, and holographic projectors during combat, often outwitting his competition.
Gizmo once turned his back on the villains and decided to join STAR Labs to do some good and atone for all his wrongdoings. However, this was short-lived after he was shrunk down to a microscopic size by one of his former teammates, Psimon. Once he regained his original size, he again devoted himself to a life of crime, teaming up with fellow H.I.V.E. graduate, Mammoth. His ingenious gadgetry and his ability to create powerful weapons from everyday items have allowed him to assist many villains in their goals to defeat the powerful heroes in DC Comics.
