Last month, Games Done Quick announced that the summer event would be held online due to Covid-19 restrictions. Wanting to stay true to its charitable mission statement while keeping volunteers safe, the group decided to cancel the on-site event and replace it with an online event titled “Summer Games Done Quick 2020 Online,” and gamers everywhere are just glad that the event wasn’t fully canceled. Hosts will be broadcasting from a small studio while participants will play games from the comfort of their own homes....

The Suns do not know the severity of Bledsoe's right knee injury at the moment. The belief is that he suffered some damage to the meniscus in his right knee in a Dec. 30 game against his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers. Whether that is the case will not be known until Bledsoe actually goes in for surgery, however. Bledsoe has sat out of the Suns' last four games for a sprained knee, the team announced this week....

Indian football has been going through a turmoil with a conflict between the I-League clubs and the AIFF which seems to be never-ending. So it’s expected that a new Mario game would be of special interest to Nintendo fans....

Of those reveals, one of the more exciting is the number of stages and stage-related functions coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The game will feature 103+ stages, with Pokemon Stadium, Garden of Hope, Brinstar Depths, the Summit (Ice Climbers), Unova Pokemon League, Magicant, Gamer (Game and Wario), and Final Destination all returning. More than that, however, there will be new stages such as New Donk City Hall from Super Mario Odyssey....

So while a successful Shadow of the Colossus movie in no way appears to guarantee an Ico or Last Guardian movie, it would certainly appear to help the cause, or at least help the cause of those behind the Shadow movie being able to work on the Ico and Guardian movies. I love both games, Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. And based on that track record and what I have seen so far I am fairly certain I will love The Last Guardian, too....

After a lot of time spent in the dark, the newest trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League gave fans a better idea of what other faces they can expect to see. Core members of the Justice League such as Green Lantern and Wonder Woman were shown off, and there was one big DC villain that made an unexpected appearance. The Penguin, one of Batman’s core villains, was shown in the Suicide Squad trailer in what looked like an interrogation scene....

Promotional material for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been limited, but what has trickled from the developer has been insightful, showing essential story beats, a change in location, and more emphasis on team-based gameplay. One of the most noticeable differences between the upcoming game and the Arkham series is the tone. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League seems to be more comedic in atmosphere, and while this is indicative of the comics and characters that it’s adapting, the release shouldn’t ignore the benefits of a darker tone that Arkham utilized so well....
